Naeem gave 25% of a profit to his partner. If the partner got Rs.4000, what remains with him?

Given:

Naeem's Partner profit Percentage = 25 %
Naeem's Partner received = Rs. 4000

To Find:

Remaining amount with Naeem = ?

Solution:

This problem can be solved in two Methods.

Method-1: Using Unitary Method

25% of the profit  = Rs. 4,000

1% of the profit = `\frac{Rs. 4,000}{25}`

100% of the profit `\frac{Rs. 4,000}{25}` x100 Rs.

By solving we get

Total Profit  = Rs. 16,000

Naeem's ShareTotal Profit - Naeem's Partner share

Naeem's Share = Rs. 16,000 Rs. 4,000

Naeem's Share = Rs. 12,000

Method-2: Using Again unitary method

First we will find the Percentage of Naeem' Profit that is
Percentage of Naeem' Profit = 100%Naeem's Partner profit Percentage

Percentage of Naeem' Profit 100% - 25% = 75 %

Now using unitary methods

25% of the profit  = Rs. 4,000

1% of the profit = `\frac{Rs. 4,000}{25}`

75% of the profit `\frac{Rs. 4,000}{25}` x75 Rs.

By solving we get

Total Profit  = Rs. 12,000

Thus, the Percentage of Naeem' Profit is 75% and his share is Rs. 12,000
